A considerable amount of Indiana football’s success through two seasons, including its national championship in 2025, can be attributed to the coaching staff’s emphasis on both lines.

The Hoosier defensive line was one of the most disruptive forces in all of college football in 2o25. Indiana’s defensive line terrorized quarterbacks like Luke Altmyer, Dante Moore, Julian Sayin and Ty Simpson en route to a 16-0 record. Now a huge piece of that returns.

Stephen Daley, who led the Big Ten in tackles for loss, is back on the roster after receiving a fifth year of eligibility. His presence is a huge boost to an already formidable unit that reloaded in the transfer portal this past offseason.
