Penn State football | Home opener against Marshall will be stripe out game

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Penn State football team has announced its 2026 season and home opener against Marshall at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 5 will be designated as the stripe out game.

The game will be televised on FS1.

In one month, Penn State will open its 140th football season and 67th campaign inside West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium.

The Nittany Lions will play their 11th annual stripe out game.

Each section will be coordinated in either all blue or white clothing to create a stripe effect at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium.
