2027 cornerback from Texas names Tennessee football in top 10 schools

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.
Four-star cornerback Jerry Outhouse Jr. named Tennessee in his top 10 schools, along with Nebraska, Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech, Arizona State, Michigan, SMU and TCU, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.
The 6-foot, 175-pound prospect is from North Crowley High School in Fort Worth, Texas. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 11 safety in the class and No. 16 player in Texas.
Tennessee offered Outhouse Jr. a scholarship on June 1. He has not visited the Vols.
South Carolina was the first school to offer Outhouse Jr. a scholarship on June 17, 2024. Other Power Four schools to offer him scholarships include Ole Miss, Missouri, SMU, Notre Dame, Kansas, Oregon, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Kansas State, Baylor, West Virginia, Miami, Houston and Stanford.
Tennessee has three commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield and offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo.
