Texas edge rusher Colin Simmons is among those to land on this year’s Allstate Wuerffel Trophy watch list.

Each season, the award honors the sport’s most impactful community leaders.

Former Texas safety Michael Taaffe won the Wuerffel Trophy last season for his work with Texas Against Fentanyl; among Longhorns to receive the annual honor before him, Sam Acho won the award back in 2010.
