Texas Longhorns transfer linebacker Rasheem Biles was one of the most coveted defensive players in the transfer portal. According to Inside Texas (Texas' branch of On3), the Ohio State Buckeyes called him as he entered the transfer portal.

However, Biles obviously rejected their notion. "I ain't really trying to be in Columbus. I ain't trying to be a Buckeye. Like, they didn’t want me out of high school, and I was right there, so ain't no point in trying to get me now."

Biles is from Pickerington, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus, and he went to Pickerington High School. As a three-star athlete who played wide receiver, running back, defensive back, and of course, linebacker, he earned 15 offers. However, Ohio State didn't offer him.

Now, Biles is looking for revenge against the Buckeyes. The 20-year-old linebacker turned into an All-ACC linebacker for Pitt, the school he committed to. In the past two seasons, he's earned 183 tackles, 31.5 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, 13 passes defended, three interceptions (all for scores), three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and a scoop-and-score. He earned second-team All-ACC in 2024 and first-team All-ACC in 2025.

Now at Texas, he's fighting for a spot on the All-American team. Even better, Texas plays Ohio State on Sept. 12, 2026. With that game having so many ramifications already, it's cool to see a storyline like his emerge to tighten the rivalry.
