Three-star QB in Georgia sets game visit with Florida State

Florida State football is searching for a quarterback commit in the 2028 cycle. One of their targets is three-star prospect Bode Spence out of East Paulding High School in Dallas, Georgia.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder has locked in several game visits during the season. However, his first will be at FSU, per Matt LaSerre of Warchant. Spence will be in Tallahassee for the Seminoles' season opener on Aug. 29 against the New Mexico State Aggies. He was extended a scholarship offer from Florida State on May 16.

The Rivals industry rankings have Spence ranked as the nation's No. 440 overall player and the No. 31 quarterback. In the state of Georgia, he's the No. 52 recruit.

Spence had a productive sophomore year. He finished with 2,214 yards and 22 touchdowns to just four interceptions while completing 63.3% of his passes. He also ran for 452 yards and six scores on an average of 6.1 yards per carry.

This will be the first time for Spence on FSU's campus. So, their first impression will be important.
