Florida Gators' Top Players Ranked Amongst Best in CFB

The 2026 college football season is right around the corner, which means it's time to look at the Florida Gators' top playmakers ahead of the program's Week One matchup.

With newly-hired head coach Jon Sumrall entering the picture this season, the coaching staff did an excellent job of both retaining some of its top players from the 2025 season and targeting top-tier talent in the transfer portal.

In a recent article ranking the top 150 college football players ahead of the 2026 season, CBS Sports' Blake Brockermeyer included three Florida standouts in his rankings.

No. 41: Jadan Baugh

The first Gators player to crack Brockermeyer's top 150 college football players is star running back Jadan Baugh, who is coming off an incredible 2025 campaign.

In his first season as Florida's top running back, Baugh finished with 1,170 rushing yards and eight touchdowns, which included a massive 266 rushing-yard, three-touchdown performance against the Florida Seminoles at the end of the regular season.

"Baugh averaged 5.3 yards per carry last season, pairing patience and vision with the power to break arm tackles and maximize every run," Brockermeyer wrote. "Nearly 800 of his rushing yards came after contact, and he should play an even bigger role in Jon Sumrall's offense. One of the SEC's most complete running backs."

With Baugh returning for another year, the prolific running back is once again in line for another dominant season with the Gators in 2026.

No. 78: Eric Singleton Jr.

In addition to Baugh receiving high praise, the Gators' offense also features another top-150 player in newly transferred wide receiver Eric Singleton Jr.

The underrated pass catcher is coming off a down year with the Auburn Tigers in 2025 (534 receiving yards and three touchdowns), but his track record with offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner at Georgia Tech should allow him to be one of the top wideouts on offense in 2026.

"Singleton remains an elite athlete with game-breaking speed, polished route-running ability and natural hands," Brockermeyer wrote. "Florida needs to manufacture multiple deep shots for him every game because few players can change a game as quickly."

Singleton is set to join the Gators' young wide receiver duo of Dallas Wilson and Vernell Brown III, with the senior pass catcher being the veteran leader of the bunch this season.

No. 126: Myles Graham

Rounding out the Gators in the top-150 players is star linebacker Myles Graham, who is projected to be one of the program's best defenders this year.

As a sophomore, Graham quickly emerged as a key difference-maker for Florida's front-seven unit in 2025, finishing with 76 tackles, four pass breakups, and two sacks. His ability to be a force in both the pass and run game will be perfect for the Gators' young linebacker unit in 2026.
