Ray J and Orlando Brown to settle feud in Atlanta boxing match

Ray J and Orlando Brown are taking their months-long feud into the boxing ring Saturday night in Atlanta.
Less than three months after he was hospitalized following a knockout loss to YouTuber Supa Hot Fire, Ray J is heading back inside the squared circle, while his recent heart condition has also drawn concern from family and fans.
According to TMZ, the fight between the “One Wish” singer and the “That’s So Raven” actor will be broadcast on Zeus Network ahead of Claressa Shields’ middleweight title fight against Kaye Scott.
The tension between the two entertainers has been building publicly for months. Brown has repeatedly mocked Ray J by calling him “Brandy’s brother,” referring to Ray J’s older sister, singer Brandy.
Their feud escalated during a promotional press conference. While the two posed face-to-face, Brown slapped Ray J across the face with a stack of cash. Ray J laughed off the moment as Brown continued shouting at him from across the stage.
Ray J enters the matchup following a frightening experience in May when he was knocked out in the second round of a fight inside the UFC Apex. He later checked himself into a hospital with doctors evaluating him for a possible concussion and monitoring his previously reported heart issues.
The singer has nevertheless said he intends to keep fighting.
“I got a lot of trainers,” Ray J told “The Breakfast Club” about the fight. “I’m just making sure I’m conditioned and I’m a try to pull it through. Last time, I was extremely confident. This time, you gotta humble yourself and try to get the win first. Right now, I can’t just underestimate anybody, not even Orlando.”
Brown, best known for playing Eddie Thomas on Disney Channel’s “That’s So Raven,” will now get the opportunity to face the R&B singer inside the ring after their increasingly public feud.
The bout is one of several celebrity matchups on Saturday’s card, which also includes Tesehki against Big Lex. Professional fights make up the rest of the event.
TMZ says Zeus Network coverage begins at 4 p.m. ET. Shields and Australian champion Kaye Scott headline the latter professional portion of the card.
