The singer won all three judges’ scorecards, less than three months after a knockout loss sent him to the hospital.
Ray J beat Orlando Brown by unanimous decision in their three-round celebrity boxing match at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, on Saturday night, giving the singer a measure of redemption after his previous fight ended with a knockout and hospitalization. The result comes one day after TheGrio previewed the pair’s heated boxing matchup and less than three months after Ray J was hospitalized following his loss to Supa Hot Fire. The result settles, at least inside the ring, a feud that had been building for months.
TMZ reported that all three judges scored the fight for Ray J after the bout aired Saturday on Zeus Network as part of the undercard for Claressa Shields’ middleweight title fight against Kaye Scott.
The match was more entertaining than competitive, according to TMZ. Neither man appeared eager to turn the three-round contest into a heavy exchange, but Ray J did enough to take every scorecard.

The victory followed months of public insults between the entertainers. Brown had repeatedly referred to Ray J as “Brandy’s brother,” invoking singer Brandy Norwood, and their feud escalated during a promotional press conference when Brown slapped Ray J across the face with a stack of cash.
Ray J laughed off the press conference moment rather than escalating it outside the ring.
Saturday’s victory also marked a turnaround from his May appearance at Brand Risk 14. Supa Hot Fire knocked Ray J out in the second round, after which the singer checked himself into a Las Vegas hospital. He was evaluated for a possible concussion while doctors monitored previously disclosed heart concerns.
Despite that experience, Ray J said afterward that he wanted to continue fighting.
Brown, known for playing Eddie Thomas on Disney Channel’s “That’s So Raven,” left Atlanta without the bragging rights after his first celebrity boxing matchup on Zeus.
The card also featured “Baddies” stars Tesehki and Big Lex, with Big Lex winning their matchup by unanimous decision.
