ASU football's historic white Sparky helmet vs Colorado has social media abuzz

We are going to witness history in the Arizona State vs Colorado Big 12 football game on Nov. 22.

Helmet history.

For the first time, the Arizona State Sun Devils will have their traditional Sparky logo on white helmets for the 6 p.m. MST game at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado.

The logo, long popular with ASU football fans, is adorning the white helmets in honor of Sparky's birthday. The ASU mascot turned 79 on Nov. 20.

Arizona State is also wearing white jerseys and maroon pants for the game against the Buffaloes, which can be seen on ESPN2.
