NFL.com Releases Senior Bowl Top 300 reveal

The road to the 2027 NFL Draft is already underway, and the Senior Bowl has released an early look at hundreds of players NFL scouts will be tracking throughout the upcoming college football season.
The Senior Bowl unveiled its annual Top 300, a preseason collection of draft-eligible prospects identified by executive director Drew Fabianich and his scouting staff. According to NFL.com's Lance Zierlein, the Senior Bowl evaluated more than 2,000 college players before narrowing the group to 300 entering the 2026 season.
Zierlein took the Senior Bowl's much larger list and highlighted 10 prospects he's particularly interested in watching this fall. Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith led his group, followed by South Carolina edge rusher Dylan Stewart and Texas edge Colin Simmons.
Texas wide receiver Cam Coleman and Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore rounded out Zierlein's top five. Oregon quarterback Dante Moore came in sixth, while Notre Dame safety Brauntae Johnson, Texas quarterback Arch Manning, Texas offensive tackle Trevor Goosby and Mississippi defensive tackle Will Echoles completed his group of 10.
The quarterbacks should draw plenty of attention as the season progresses. Zierlein pointed to consistency and decision-making as areas to watch with Moore, while Manning enters his second full season as Texas' starter with an opportunity to take another step after an uneven 2025 campaign.
This is far from a finished draft board. The Senior Bowl's Top 300 is intended as an early snapshot before another full season of evaluation, and players will have opportunities to rise or fall as scouts gather more information.
The process eventually leads to Mobile, Alabama, where the Senior Bowl will be played Jan. 30, 2027, at Hancock Whitney Stadium.
