Kansas State football has landed another highly touted specialist for its 2026 recruiting class.

Max Thomas, a kicker from St. Michael the Archangel (Missouri), announced his commitment to the Wildcats in an X post on Friday, Nov. 21.

Thomas joins long snapper Sam Dolphens out of Papillion-La Vista (Nebraska) as a K-State pledge with five-star designations from Kohl’s Professional Camps, a respected evaluator of specialists.

Thomas is ranked by Kohl’s as the No. 36 kicker in the 2026 class. During a spring camp, the website noted that he’s shown the leg strength and consistency needed to play at the college level.

Thomas announced his offer from K-State on Nov. 16. He visited the school for its 34-20 win over UCF on Sept. 27.
