The 2026 season for the Florida State Seminoles is set to begin this Saturday at home when they battle the New Mexico State Aggies. However, high school play has already started across the country.
This means that commits for FSU in the 2027 recruiting class have begun making plays as they look to have big campaigns before coming to Tallahassee. Here's a recap of how several of their pledges performed last week.
Logan Flaherty
Flaherty went bonkers in Port Charlotte's win over Cape Carol. The three-star quarterback completed nine of his 10 passes for 192 yards, but he was a monster on the ground with 242 yards and four scores.

Sean Green
Green showed why he's a four-star prospect as he racked up 71 yards on three receptions and scored one touchdown. Also, he took his only carry to the house for a 53-yard score. He helped Camden County get a win over Brunswick.
Majay Thompson
The three-star recruit registered nine receptions for 100 yards and one touchdown as he aided Crest to a win over Burns.
Za'Kari Johnson
The four-star athlete helped Carol City defeat Mainland with one passing touchdown and one score on the ground. He also plays defensive back.

Jayden Miles
Miles and Catholic-Baton Rouge don't begin their season until Sept. 4 against Carrollton. However, the four-star running back had two explosive runs in a scrimmage versus Southside, with one going for a touchdown.

Olrick Johnson III
The three-star linebacker kicked off his senior campaign with a team-high 10 tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, and one forced fumble as Harrison defeated Allatoona.
CJ Ohuabunwa
Ohuabunwa finished with a team-high 12 tackles as the three-star linebacker helped Greater Atlanta Christian beat North Hall.
