Penn State-USC White Out Clash Set For Primetime on NBC

With the start of the college football season just four days away, more announcements on kickoff times are starting to pop up. For Penn State fans, one of the most anticipated kickoff times is now official, as Daniel Gallen over at Lions 247 reported that the Nittany Lions and Trojans are set to face each other in the White Out on October 10th at 7:30 PM EST on NBC’s Big Ten Saturday Night, with Noah Eagle and PSU legend Todd Blackledge in the broadcast booth.

The last time these two teams faced each other was two years ago, where PSU prevailed in overtime, 33-30 in a thriller of a contest that saw the Nittany Lions rally from a 14-point halftime deficit and Ryan Barker have his coming out party, converting on all four of his field goal attempts, including the game-winner in OT.

This year’s game will mark the first trip to Happy Valley for the Trojans since 1994, when PSU demolished them 38-14. It will also mark the first White Out game for Matt Campbell as PSU’s head coach, who will seek to add another one in the ‘W’ column for the program’s all-time White Out record of 13-9.
