Alabama defensive lineman to reportedly miss 2026 season with injury

Alabama Crimson Tide defensive lineman Jeremiah Beaman is set to miss the 2026 season due to an injury, per Yea Alabama.

According to Yea Alabama, it is an ACL injury for Beaman that resulted in the defensive lineman undergoing surgery. Beaman suffered the injury during practice Sunday, per Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer.

The junior was entering his third season in Tuscaloosa considered among Alabama's potential breakout candidates in the preseason along the defensive line. Beaman missed all but one game last year due to a season-ending injury, which he suffered in practice following the Crimson Tide's Week 1 loss at Florida State.

A former in-state recruit, Beaman was considered as a Top 100 prospect nationally in the Crimson Tide's 2024 class out of Parker High School in Birmingham. During his time in Tuscaloosa, Beaman has appeared in four games with a pair of tackles in 2024 as a true freshman.

Following the injury to Beaman, players such as Edric Hill, Isaia Faga, and Steve Bolo Mboumoua are likely expected to be among Alabama's top reserve options at defensive tackle.
