We are now one more podcast closer to the start of the 2026 NCAA Football season! That means that we are talking about…checks notes…pro players coming to play college football? That can’t be right. Yet somehow it is. Ryan and I dive into the latest controversy that is embroiling the NCAA, the Big Ten, and the SEC. We are both surprised that the SEC is taking a strong stand against this idea. Who knew the SEC had some integrity. Certainly not me.

Then, we do a hard pivot and look at Purdue’s 11th opponent of the season in the Wisconsin Badgers. This is a Wisconsin team that Purdue hasn’t beaten in football in over two decades. No, that’s not a joke or an exaggeration. Not since October 18, 2003, has Purdue walked away from a game against the Badgers with a victory. After a disappointing season for both squads, could this be the year the Boilermakers break through? Let’s hope!
