Former Michigan State guard Tre Holloman commits to Grand Canyon

It appears that the college career of Tre Holloman will continue. On Thursday, it was reported by On3 that Holloman has committed to Grand Canyon of the Mountain West Conference. Holloman played last season for NC State after starting his career with Michigan State basketball.

Last summer, Holloman became one of the most polarizing figures in recent MSU history when he shocked Spartan fans by transferring to NC State to play for Will Wade. Holloman had a solid season for the Wolfpack, and was able to parlay that into a roster spot with the Orlando Magic's NBA Summer League team, where he got to play with Jase Richardson one more time.

Now, Holloman appears to be getting one more season of college basketball, as long as the rules hold up for fifth year players to be eligible this year in the increasingly confusing saga of player eligibility in college sports.
