Watch list announced for Yukica Player of the Year Award

The watch list for the Joe Yukica Player of the Year Award was announced on Thursday by the Joe Yukica/New Hampshire Chapter of the National Football Foundation.

The award represents the top NHIAA football player each season and was presented for the first time in 2023. Souhegan High School’s J.J. Bright was the inaugural winner, Campbell High School’s Scott Hershberger won the award in 2024 and Bedford’s Brody Helton was last year’s winner.

A vote by NHIAA head coaches and select media members determines the winner, who does not have to come from this list.
