The Denver Broncos will host the Minnesota Vikings in the final preseason game for both teams. Soon after the game is over, there will be two days of roster moves for all teams get to the 53-man limit by Sunday afternoon.
Game preview
This will be the 16th preseason meeting between these two teams with Denver one game back with 7 wins to 8 losses to Minnesota.
Coming off a pretty bad defeat, the Broncos will need to play well despite most of their starters likely staying on the bench for this one. The final preseason game can have a flare of excitement at times as players try to earn their roster spots, but all too often it ends up being a rather boring affair.
Denver has a decent set of backup quarterbacks in Jarrett Stidham and Sam Ehlinger, so the offense should be functional and efficient most of the way provided the offensive line doesn’t collapse.
