ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter has reported that the Miami Dolphins will trade Tutu Atwell back to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for running back Jarquez Hunter.

Atwell will return to a team he left this offseason in March after signing a one-year, $1.4 million deal with the Dolphins. Jarquez Hunter has been battling for a spot during training camp, but will now head to Miami, where he can provide some much-needed depth behind De'Von Achane.

Atwell, if used within the right system, and the Rams one is familiar, can be considered a dual threat. During his five years with the Rams, he would rush for 16 times, 72 yards, and a touchdown.

He will still need to find his footing as a receiver, as his best season came in 2023, when he totaled 39 catches for 483 yards and 3 touchdowns, while playing in 14 games.

For his career, Atwell has caught 105 passes for just over 1,500 yards and 5 touchdowns.
