Pensacola area Week 2 final scores

Week 2 of high school football is in the books is in the Pensacola area.

Pensacola Catholic made a statement with a resounding win over Pace, while Tate, Booker T. Washington, Northview and Jay all improved to 2-0.

Below are final scores for Week 1 as well as what's next for each area team.

Thursday

Niceville 41, West Florida 14

Up next: West Florida (0-2) will host Fort Walton Beach on Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.

Friday

Pine Forest 8, Escambia0

Up next: Pine Forest (1-1) will play at Crestview on Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. Escambia (0-1) will play at Tate on Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.

Pensacola 32, Gulf Breeze 10

Up next: Pensacola (1-1) will play at Booker T. Washington for the Mayor's Bowl on Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. Gulf Breeze (0-2) will host Freeport on Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.

Northview 42, McIntosh, Alabama 13

Up next: Northview (2-0) will play at Graceville on Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.

Jay 56, Elberta, Alabama8

Up next: Jay (2-0) will play at Central on Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.

Pensacola Catholic 51, Pace 33

Up next: Pensacola Catholic (2-0) will play at Godby on Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. CT. Pace (1-1) will host Choctawhatchee on Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

Tate 24, Milton 21

Up next: Tate (2-0) will host Escambia on Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. Milton (0-2) will play at Navarre on Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

Booker T. Washington 45, Navarre 27
