The Florida State Seminoles play the New Mexico State Aggies on Saturday night in Doak Campbell Stadium to open the 2026 season, and another FSU commit has confirmed he will be attending the game.
2028 tight end commit Troy Silberzahn announced Saturday morning on social media that he will be at the game. It is his first time attending a game since he committed to the Seminoles back in July. Four-star edge commit Anthony Cavallaro also announced he will be attending the game on Saturday.
Silberzahn is ranked as the No. 718 overall player and No. 32 tight end in the 247Sports composite. The Melbourne product is also the No. 86 player from Florida.
The 6-foot-3.5, 212-pounder was one of Chris Thomsen's top targets in the cycle and made the early commitment after FSU extended him a scholarship offer and hosted him at a camp in May. He is up to a dozen scholarship offers, with the Seminoles beating out the Florida Gators, Miami Hurricanes, and more for him.
Silberzahn is coming off an excellent game for Eau Gallie High School, which beat Heritage 41-0 on Friday to improve to 1-1 on the season. He caught eight passes for 132 yards and one touchdown, showing why FSU was so excited to land him.
I will be in TALLY 🏡 this weekend!!! @EauGallieHC@ThomsenChris@Coach_Norvell@PrestonB49@CoachTrent3Guypic.twitter.com/MIBC8KfeO9
