Lane Kiffin wants to make sure every little detail is perfect.

Learning from the best of the best in Nick Saban, the head coach of the LSU Tigers knows how important the little things can be.

Even as small as the pregame walk to the stadium.

LSU went through a simulated game weekend in Baton Rouge, staying at the team hotel on Friday night before making the walk down Victory Hill, getting dressed in the locker room, and doing a run out onto the Bermuda grass of Tiger Stadium as the scout team wore Clemson jerseys to simulate what next Saturday night should look like.

The band and cheerleaders also partook in the pregame festivities. There were even fireworks.

It’s no secret that Kiffin is obsessed with the details, and this just proves it.

The Bayou Bengals open the Lane Kiffin era on Saturday inside the real Death Valley against Clemson at 6:30 p.m. on ABC and the LSU Sports Radio Network. Coverage will begin with College Gameday starting at 8:00 a.m.
