Vanderbilt football opens its 2026 season against Austin Peay at FirstBank Stadium.

The contest Sept. 5 (6 p.m. CT, SEC Network+) will feature both Blaze Berlowitz and Jared Curtis appearing at quarterback in Clark Lea's sixth season.

The Commodores finished 10-3 last season, their first 10-win season ever. To start the season, Vanderbilt was picked to finish 13th of 16 teams in the SEC and received votes, but was not ranked in the top 25, in both the AP Poll and US LBM Coaches Poll.
