Week 13 of the 2025 college football season provided the Atlantic Coast Conference with some clarity, but left a lot of questions for the final week of the regular season.
Pittsburgh upset No. 12 Georgia Tech (No. 16 College Football Playoff Rankings) 42-28 to keep alive its hopes for a spot in the ACC Championship game, while denying the Yellow Jackets the opportunity to clinch a spot at the same time. Mason Heintschel accounted for three touchdowns in Pitt’s shocking win in Atlanta.
The only other ranked ACC team in action, No. 15 Miami (No. 13 in CFP), took down Virginia Tech 34-17 on the road to stay alive for the College Football Playoff. The Hurricanes are unlikely to get to the ACC championship game, so they could need help to make the 12-team field.
No. 19 Virginia (No. 19 in CFP) was on bye this week and will take on in-state rival Virginia Tech, needing a win to potentially clinch the other spot in the conference championship game.
Here’s how the Week 13 action will impact the updated US LBM Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 for the ACC as the regular season has one week left:
