Tennessee football defensive lineman Tyre West went down with an injury with 3:23 in the second quarter against Oklahoma on Nov. 1.

West collided with linebacker Ben Bolton on the play. He walked to the medical tent on his own power and headed to the locker room at Neyland Stadium shortly before halftime.

West had two tackles before leaving the game.

The No. 14 Vols (6-2, 3-2 SEC) trail No. 18 Oklahoma (6-2, 2-2) at halftime 16-10. The winner stays in the College Football Playoff race, while the loser is essentially eliminated with a third loss. While Tennessee has outgained Oklahoma by 156 total yards, the Vols have turned it over three times.

Quarterback Joey Aguilar has two interceptions and a fumble returned for a touchdown.

Oklahoma kicker Tate Sandell has buoyed the Sooners‘ offense with three field goals, including two from over 50 yards.
