Two flip targets to visit FSU for SMU game

Florida State has one of its biggest games of the season coming up on Monday as they begin ACC play against the SMU Mustangs at home. They'll also have a loaded list of visitors for the showdown.

Two of them are actually teammates at Armwood High School in Seffner, Florida. Per Zach Blostein of 247Sports, three-star defensive lineman Errol Demontagnac and three-star linebacker Theo Wilson are making the trip to Tallahassee.

Demontagnac attended one of FSU's Junior Day events back in January, and he got an offer from them in April. However, he committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers in June after an official visit there.

That hasn't stopped defensive coordinator Tony White and defensive line coach Terrance Knighton from pursuing a flip of the 6-foot-3, 290-pounder.

"Just really trying to persuade me to come," Demontagnac said. "They say they look at me as one of the best players in the country and they want me."

Demontagnac is the nation's No. 801 overall player and the No. 93 defensive lineman according to 247Sports composite rankings. He's ranked as the No. 69 prospect in the state of Florida as well.

About a week before Demontagnac took his Junior Day visit, Wilson was present for one himself, and he received an offer while he was there. Despite his commitment to the North Carolina Tar Heels in June, Florida State's linebacker coach Ernie Sims has continued recruiting him.

Wilson is the No. 504 prospect in the country and the No. 38 linebacker in 247Sports composite rankings. He's the state of Florida's No. 43 recruit as well.

The Seminoles need some defensive talent in the 2027 cycle. So, Demontagnac and Wilson are names to watch as possible flips.
