Duquesne is coming off a 7-5 season in which it finished second in the Northeast Conference at 5-2. The Dukes return running back Ness Davis, who rushed for 927 yards while averaging 6.4 yards per carry last season. Head coach Jerry Schmitt enters his 22nd year leading the program, but Duquesne will have plenty of new faces after losing 12 of its 14 All-NEC selections from 2025.

Air Force also makes its 2026 season debut and enters Troy Calhoun’s 20th season as head coach. The Falcons have been nearly untouchable in matchups like this, holding a 29-0 all-time record against FCS opponents, with every one of those games played at Falcon Stadium.
