Key athlete target set to visit FSU for SMU game

Florida State has added another visitor for its game against the SMU Mustangs on Monday night inside Doak Campbell Stadium. It's 2028 athlete Kyle Estimond, who announced on social media that he'll be in the building.

"I will be attending FSU today against SMU! #gonoles," Estimond said on social media.

Estimond is no stranger to Florida State. He attended their game against the East Texas A&M Lions last September. Linebackers coach Ernie Sims stopped by his high school in January, he attended spring practice in April, and he visited in June. Also, he was on campus for FSU's win against the New Mexico State Aggies in their season opener.

It makes perfect sense why the Seminoles have been recruiting Estimond so strongly. He attended North Florida Christian High School during his freshman and sophomore seasons. Before his junior year, he transferred to Amos P. Godby High School. Both schools are in Tallahassee.

Estimond was a very productive player during his two seasons at Florida Christian. He racked up 40 receptions for 603 yards and five touchdowns, plus 34 tackles, three tackles for loss, three interceptions, and four pass breakups as a freshman. He logged 46 catches for 914 yards and nine touchdowns on offense, and then added 48 tackles, two interceptions, two pass breakups, and two forced fumbles on defense as a sophomore. Surprisingly, Estimond is still an unranked prospect. However, that should change real soon.

2028 three-star wide receiver Seven Rashad also announced on Monday that he'll be at the SMU game.
