Duke football is bowl eligible for the fourth-straight season.
The Blue Devils (6-5, 5-2 ACC) got their sixth win and earned bowl eligibility against rival UNC on Nov. 22, taking down the Tar Heels behind a late fake field goal that saw Todd Pelino take it to the 1-yard line and running Anderson Castle punch it in on the next play. It marks the second bowl trip under second-year coach Manny Diaz, who guided Duke to the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl in his debut season, where it lost 52-20 to Ole Miss. Diaz was just the third first-year head coach in program history to lead Duke to a bowl game in his debut season.
Before it learns its fate for bowl game, Duke closes out its regular season at Wallace Wade Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 29, hosting Wake Forest (3:30 p.m. ET, ACC Network). The Blue Devils will look to keep their winning-streak alive against in-state competition on what will be Senior Day for Duke.
Several bowl projections have Duke playing in the Military Bowl in Annapolis, Maryland, while others have it staying local and playing in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl in Charlotte. Below are some bowl projections for Duke football ahead of Week 14 of the 2025 college football season:
