Ohio State remains atop the US LBM Coaches Poll after Week 1

Week 1 was an interesting one in college football, but Ohio State stayed away from some of the chaos we saw in other parts of the country with an impressive 56-3 win over Ball State. Now that we've had some real, live games to look at, the coaches that vote in the US LBM Coaches Poll have some game film and results to go by that can create a different perception than what we thought in the preseason.
So, how did all of that play into where Ohio State and others are after Week 1? The Buckeyes were the preseason No. 1 team in the poll, and after last week, they did nothing to make the voters think any differently. Ohio State was the top team again in the latest poll released with 50-of-74 first-place votes.
Behind OSU was Georgia (2), Texas (3), Notre Dame (4), Indiana (5), Oregon (6), Miami (FL) (7), LSU (8), Texas A&M (9), and Oklahoma (10), rounding out the top ten.
