There were over 40 high school recruits on campus from every corner of the country when the Washington Huskies took on the Washington State Cougars in the Apple Cup on Sunday, September 6.

Among that group was three-star wide receiver Barrett Price, a product of Spain Park High School in Hoover, Alabama. Ranked as the No. 695 overall prospect and No. 96 wide receiver in the 2028 class by the 247Sports Composite, Price is a fast-rising recruit who has garnered interest from plenty of Power Four programs.

The 6-foot, 175-pound pass catcher holds 35 offers, with Arizona State, Florida, Georgia, Nebraska, Oregon, and Tennessee all among the interested parties.

After compiling 26 catches for 402 yards and 3 touchdowns during his sophomore year, the majority of Price's offers rolled in over the summer, as college programs appear to be very intrigued by what he's shown on his film and during the camp circuit.

Price displays the ability to line up all over the formation, with the speed to stretch the field vertically, while he also possesses the athleticism to make defenders miss after the catch. All of those traits are exactly what Jedd Fisch and position coach Kevin Cummings covet at the position for players who can align at both the Z spot and in the slot, much like Dezmen Roebuck did in 2025 on his way to Freshman All-American honors.

After adding three blue-chip receivers in the 2026 class, and with three more committed in 2027, with eight total pledges between the two classes, the Huskies may be looking to concentrate their focus on a few high-end prospects, and with a strong junior campaign, Price could quickly rise up Washington's board.
