Texas football had its fair share of mistakes in the team’s Week 1 win over Texas State, but it wasn’t enough to bump the program down in the latest AP Poll nor in the most recent Coaches Poll this week.

In fact, Texas improved by one ranking in each.

Texas is now No. 4 nationally, per this week’s AP Poll.

Meanwhile, Texas is now No. 3 in the latest Coaches Poll.
