Revere hosts Twinsburg at Joseph F. Pappano Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 10, in a Week 4 high school football game.

Kickoff for the Suburban League American Conference opener for both teams is at 7 p.m.

The Tigers (0-3) are in the Suburban League American Conference this season after playing in the Suburban League National Conference for more than a decade. The Minutemen (2-1) have been in the SLAC since the league split into two conferences in 2015.

What to know about Twinsburg football

Twinsburg is coached by Charles Saulter. Twinsburg posted a 6-5 record last season.

Twinsburg is seeking its first win of this season after losing 22-19 to Kent Roosevelt, 23-20 to Bedford and 24-12 to Solon.

The Tigers feature Dylan Fantone, Kyle Anello, Kyler Hoon, Aiden Alonzo and Gavin Rathbone.

What to know about Revere football

Revere is coached by Robert Nickol. Revere compiled an 8-3 record last season.

Revere is led by Lane Shenigo, TJ Meech, twin brothers Brady and Carter Hajdu and their older brother, Davis Hajdu.

Shenigo ran for two touchdowns and 96 yards on nine carries last week in a 46-8 win over Parma Heights Valley Forge. Carter Hajdu contributed a rushing TD and was 7-of-12 passing for 184 yards with a TD pass to Meech, who had five catches for 166 yards. Brady Hajdu and Mateo Mutersbaugh each ran for a TD.

Revere opened the season with a 25-14 loss at home to Woodridge in Week 1 and a 28-12 win over Garfield at Kenmore Stadium in Week 2.

Shenigo ran for 108 yards and two TDs on 17 carries in the win over Garfield. Meech and Brady Hajdu also ran for a TD against Garfield. Carter Hajdu completed 8 of 13 passes for 83 yards with two interceptions. Revere recorded four interceptions versus Garfield, with Davis Hajdu and Marco Geise each with two. Brayden Archer, Jackson Farrow and Teagan Klein are also solid defenders for the Minutemen.

Twinsburg football's impact players 

Dylan Fantone completed 216 of 350 passes for 2,307 yards and 23 touchdowns as a junior. … His primary receiver will be Kyle Anello, who rushed for 312 yards and a touchdown in 81 carries. He caught 12 passes last season for 77 yards and a score as well. Quentin Bailey is also back after limited time on offense. "They're going to be a dynamic duo at wide receiver," Saulter said. "It's going to be great. Dylan was a first-team all-league guy last year. Kyle was a receiver as a sophomore and we used him at running back last year because we needed depth. Quentin will be dynamic. He's got the best hands on the team."

Revere football’s impact players 

Nickol identified senior two-way linemen Jackson Farrow and Ryan Ferrara and senior tight end-linemen Joel Caipen and Michael Mark as leaders to watch. … "Jackson was a first-team All-Suburban League and honorable mention all-district player as a junior," Nickol said. "He will be anchoring the left tackle position and rotating in at defensive tackle. Ryan was second-team All-Suburban League as a junior. He will be playing a variety of positions on the offensive line, and will also help with depth at defensive tackle. Joel was second-team All-Suburban League last season and finished second on the team with seven sacks. He will be playing the defensive end position and rotating at tight end on offense. Michael was second-team All-Suburban League last season and had 8½ tackles for loss. He will also play the tight end and defensive end positions." … Caipen had seven sacks last year.

What's new with Twinsburg football in 2026 

Lucas Keinzlen and Anello combined for 1,210 yards and four touchdowns on the ground, leaving Zach Shobert (47 carries, 163 yards, TD) and Vincent Mazzocco (13 carries, 66 yards) as the leading returning rushers. Expect Mazzocco to take the role as primary back. … "Vinny has put on 20 pounds of pure muscle," Saulter said. "He's extremely quick with very good vision. He's going to be really, really good and take care of the football for us. That's going to be huge. I've been a big proponent of the running game opening up the passing game. … We've got multiple people that we think can come in and run the football."

What's new with Revere football in 2026 

Nickol said Revere "will have many new faces in 2026." … Revere graduated 18 seniors and 15 starters from 2025. … "The team will have to navigate through a very tough Suburban League American Conference with the additions of Kenston, Twinsburg, Brecksville and Mayfield," Nickol said. "A few rising players this year will be junior QB Carter Hajdu, senior RB-DB Calvin Childs III, senior RB-DB Sam Childs, senior WR-DB Davis Hajdu, junior OL-DL Teagan Klein, junior WR-DB T.J Meech, junior OL-DL Luca Mutersbaugh, junior RB-LB Lane Shenigo, junior TE-DL Brooks Christman, senior K David Kennedy and junior WR-DB Tyler Parker." … Carter Hajdu (6-0, 165) is the projected starting QB after playing junior varsity last year. His twin brother, Brady (5-9, 180), also played JV last year and will be a key running back this year along with Calvin Childs III and Lane Shenigo. Davis Hajdu is Brady and Carter's older brother. … Calvin Childs III, who is not related to Sam Childs, was injured last season after contributing as a varsity RB as a sophomore. … Nickol said Davis Hajdu and Meech will generally line up as slot receivers. Mark and Christman are Revere's top tight ends. … Freshman Ryan Tompkins (6-1, 195) is set to start at linebacker.

Twinsburg football’s outlook 

The Tigers moved to the SLAC with Brecksville this year. Playing in the "big school" conference should do nothing but help. … "We had a really good senior class last year, so we'll be a little young," Saulter said. "There are question marks but I can guarantee that this team is extremely hard working. The National Conference is a horror film every week. The American is as good as well. I think we're really going to surprise some people this year."

Revere football’s outlook 

Revere ended the 2025 season at home with a 24-21 over rival Copley in Week 10 and a 23-14 loss to Rocky River in a Division III playoff game. … Revere moves forward after graduating five of its best players from last season — three-time All-Suburban League American Conference first-team offensive lineman Joe Rozak, defensive lineman Elijah Sedor, linebacker Nick Hall, wide receiver-cornerback Harrison Drvenkar and running back-linebacker James Perry. Perry is playing at Gannon University. … On offense, Revere returns starters Farrow at left tackle, Ferrara at left guard, Meech at wide receiver, Sam Childs at fullback and center Mutersbaugh, who played right guard last year. … On defense, the Minutemen return starters Caipen and Mark at defensive end, Shenigo at linebacker and Davis Hajdu at safety. … "The 2026 Revere Minutemen are coming off three straight playoff appearances and the program's most wins [eight] in a season since 1998," Nickol said. "Competition will be plentiful this summer as we look to replace 15 starting positions from 2025. Many rising 11th and 12th graders were able to get experience throughout last season. The team's strengths will be up front on both sides of the ball with four all-league returners. The skill positions will be relatively young early on. It will once again be a very competitive league. Health and depth will be critical for a successful season."
