Oregon Gets Interesting Oklahoma State Game Prediction From CFB Analyst

After an opening-week scare from Boise State, the Oregon Ducks are looking forward to the challenges ahead in Week 2.
Oregon will be traveling on the road to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys, in what could be an exciting matchup. The Ducks are heavily favored entering this game, and considering how poorly they played a week ago, frustration could come out on the Cowboys.
Adding in the fact that Oklahoma State lost to Tulsa to open the year, the Ducks could be headed toward a big win. But one college football analyst is skeptical of this.
Ahead of the game, college football analyst Brett McMurphy predicted a few games on the upcoming Week 2 schedule. Within this, McMurphy has Oregon winning, but the game may be closer than some people believe.
"Here’s another matchup where last week’s results have convinced everyone of what will happen in Stillwater. Eric Morris’ debut was a dud as Oklahoma State lost as a nearly two-touchdown favorite at Tulsa. Oregon outgained Boise State by more than 200 yards but only beat the Broncos 34-27. Like the Michigan prediction above, Joe Public is all in on Oregon here. Believe me, there is not enough beer in Eskimo Joe’s that could convince me Oklahoma State will win. But the Cowboys can hang around," McMurphy wrote.
If Oregon were to have another tight game, there could be some cause for concern in Eugene. The Ducks entered the season as one of the title favorites, so pulling out close wins over lower-tier teams could be a troubling trend.
Quarterback Dante Moore will have to make sure that the offense keeps going, continuing the effort from Week 1. Moore came back to school this season, forgoing the NFL Draft, for a chance to win a title.
The Oregon offense wasn't the issue against Boise State, but the offense will be required to carry the load against the Cowboys. Moore threw for 378 yards and three touchdowns in the win over the Broncos last week.
The Ducks defnsse will need a better showing, especially against an Oklhoma State team that only put up 10 points a week ago. But overall, the Ducks should win this game, if not fairly easily.
However, if another poor showing were to take place, real questions would start to rise around this program. Kickoff between the Ducks and the Cowboys will take place at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater.
