Four-star wide receiver to visit Vols for Texas football game

2028 four-star wide receiver Pierce Washington will visit Tennessee for the Vols' football game against Texas on Sept. 26, according to Brendan Sonnone of 247Sports. He will also visit Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Memphis, Ohio State and Texas A&M this season.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound prospect is an in-state target from Bartlett High School in Bartlett, Tennessee. Rivals ranks him as the No. 33 wide receiver in the class and No. 10 player in Tennessee.
Tennessee offered Washington a scholarship on Jan. 23. He visited the Vols for Big Orange BBQ on May 30.
Jacksonville State was the first school to offer Washington a scholarship on Jan. 16. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Miami, Vanderbilt, Missouri, Oregon, South Carolina, Auburn, Maryland, Kentucky, Arkansas, Jackson State, Indiana, Kennesaw State, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Wake Forest and Purdue.
Quarterback Kaden Craft is Tennessee’s only 2028 football commitment.
