Coming off a dominant 52-16 opening victory over North Texas, Indiana returns to Memorial Stadium for a historic non-conference showdown against Howard. Marking the first-ever gridiron meeting between the two programs — and Indiana's first against an HBCU — the Hoosiers look to build early-season momentum. Led by efficient quarterback Josh Hoover, Indiana's high-powered attack faces a gritty Bison squad eger to bounce back and pull off a monumental upset in Bloomington.

Indiana is expected to roll, so here a few things within the game that might just play out on Saturday.

1. Josh Hoover will throw at least three touchdown passes

Against North Texas, Hoover was lights out. He had more touchdown passes (4) than he did incompletions (3). He only threw it 16 times, but he found the end zone with four of those throws. Hoover already looks like a perfect fit in Cignetti's offense and there won't be much resistance from Howard. Look for Hoover to light it up again in Week 2.

2. Charlie Becker will score two more touchdowns

Two of Hoover's four touchdown tosses went to Becker and I think it'll happen that way again. Becker has established himself as a legitimate deep threat, red zone target and trusty possession receiver. He really can do it all from the wideout position. It's clear that Hoover already trusts him and that will result in No. 80 finding his way into the end zone twice again.

3. Nick Marsh will have at least 5 catches

Last week, Marsh's first ever catch as a Hoosier was a one-handed touchdown snag from 15 yards out. After that, he only had one other catch for two yards. The Michigan State transfer is viewed as a future first-round pick, but he just wasn't that involved against North Texas. Expect the 6-3, 210-pounder to be more involved in the offensive gameplan this week. 

4. Indiana will score a special teams touchdown

Last week Indiana flirted with a return touchdown on multiple occasions. Lee Beebe Jr. took the opening kickoff back 67 yards to set the Hoosiers up for their first touchdown of the year. Not long after, Turbo Richard popped off a 41-yard kick return. Wide receiver Tyler Morris had a punt return of 36 yards. The IU return teams were locked in and will be again this weekend.

5. Indiana will not cover the spread 

Finally, I do expect Indiana to dominate, but a 56.5-point spread is just too big. Cignetti is not one to let up, but I do think he'll get some backups in if the game is at hand. Because of that, I expect the scoring to slow down in the second half.
