Michigan State football game day guide vs. Eastern Michigan

Michigan State football is back at home again this week, and here is your game day guide for the day.

The Spartans will play their first traditional Saturday afternoon game of the season this week, with the Eastern Michigan Eagles coming to town. Michigan State opened the season last week with a Friday night victory over Toledo.

With kickoff officially scheduled for 3:38 p.m. ET, there is a full day of festivities leading up to that. Parking lots will open as early 7 a.m. ET for tailgaters to arrive and from there the Meijer Fan Fest will begin at 12:30 p.m. ET. The Spartan Walk will take place at 1:30 p.m. ET, which leads into the gates opening around 1:30 p.m. ET or 2 p.m. ET depending on your ticket level.

All of this will lead up to the Michigan State marching band taking the field at 3:18 p.m. ET before the team runs onto the field at 3:30 p.m. ET.
