The Kyle Whittingham era got off to a rocky start, to say the least. Not only did Michigan football struggle mightily against Group of Six team Western Michigan, but the game also ended in controversy, with most outside of Ann Arbor believing that the Wolverines lost the game, though the officials, the Big Ten, and the NCAA say otherwise.

The best way to silence all of the dissent is to win, but Michigan will have a tough go of that with No. 10 Oklahoma coming to town.

It's the return trip after the Wolverines lost in Norman last year, 24-13, in a game that went down to the wire, but that the maize and blue also weren't really in. However, this Michigan team seems significantly worse than the one that's about to take the field. And though it was just Week 1, there are concerns across the board.

But perhaps the Wolverines are ripe for the upset?
