Nation's No. 1 quarterback visiting Georgia football

The Georgia Bulldogs are expected to have plenty of highly talented recruits visiting Sanford Stadium for Saturday's game against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. Georgia's most notable visitor is five-star quarterback recruit Jayden Wade, who is a member of the class of 2028.
Wade is the No. 1 quarterback recruit in the junior class, per 247Sports. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound passer can make plays with his arm and his legs. Wade plays high school football for IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
The elite quarterback prospect has been committed to Georgia football since November 2025. The Bulldogs are trying to stave off other programs to maintain Wade's commitment. In the past, Nebraska (Dylan Raiola) and Vanderbilt (Jared Curtis) both flipped Georgia five-star quarterback commitments at the last minute before the early signing period. Coach Kirby Smart and Georgia don't want that to happen again.
Wade passed for 20 touchdowns and just two interceptions during the 2025 season and looks to be even more productive in 2026. The IMG Academy star is ranked as the No. 2 recruit in the country and the No. 1 prospect in Florida.
Georgia is looking to continue to make a strong impression on Wade, who will see the Bulldogs wear all-white uniforms for the first time in school history on Saturday.

Wade has looked sharp for IMG Academy to start the 2026 high school football season.
