With one game under their collective belt, the OregonDucks football team learned a lot about itself following the close 34-27 win over Boise State a week ago. Oregon showed they can face adversity right in the face, overcome it, and still come away with a big victory.
But there wasn't a bigger adversity faced last season than the Oklahoma State team in 2025. The Cowboys turned out to be one of the worst teams in football last season, with Oregon exposing every single weakness. What came next after the season was a complete overhaul of the program. They have a new coaching staff, 91 new players and they might have found a new water boy in the process.
Having a quarterback out there that at least as a clue is a good start, and it looks as if OSU found one in former North Texas signal caller Drew Mestemaker. He wasn't great in the opening loss to Tulsa, but he wasn't terrible either, going 29-of-49 for 241 yards, a touchdown, but two interceptions. That won't fly against an elite defense the Ducks seem to have.
Grab some coffee and follow the game right here as we bring you every highlight, score and even a little analysis as the Ducks take on the Cowboys in this early morning tilt.

Oregon vs Oklahoma State predictions, betting odds
Odds via FanDuel.
- Prediction:Oregon 45, Oklahoma State 10. It's hard to imagine the Ducks going on the road and dominate the Cowboys as they did last season. The Cowboys have just about a completely different roster and this will be OSU's home opener. Oklahoma State is still a bad team, but not nearly as bad as they once were. Expect a close first quarter. But after struggling with Boise State last week, the Ducks need to show they can run somebody over. This game would be a good start.
- Spread: Oregon (-23.5)
- Total O/U: 55.5
- Moneyline: Oregon (-2300); Oklahoma State (+1060)
Oregon vs Oklahoma State Weather Forecast
- Saturday's low will be 75 degrees between 6 am and 7 a.m.; the high will be 95 degrees, but that won't be until the late afternoon, when the football game should be over. But it will still be in the mid-80s around kickoff and get warmer from there. Although there is a slight chance of thundershowers, that too should occur after the game is done.
