Florida football vs Campbell live updates: UF hosts FCS team at The Swamp

The second week of a season is time for growth, and Florida football coach Jon Sumrall is looking for UF to make strides in its Week 2 matchup against FCS opponent Campbell.

The Florida Gators (1-0) are coming off a 66-21 win over FAU that featured another heavy dose of junior running back Jadan Baugh, who rushed for 160 yards on 14 carries and 3 TDs.

"He just runs with such, I think, conviction," Sumrall said. "The way he runs, you feel his runs. He's a violent runner; I think he's gotten even better at running north and south."

Aaron Philo will make his second career start at quarterback for Florida after passing for 275 yards and 3 TDs in his UF starting debut. Philo is looking forward to playing in The Swamp for the second straight time.

"To have that many fans behind you and all cheering for you, it really allows for a great atmosphere," Philo said. "They bring the energy and it was awesome."

Campbell (2-0) is led by dual-threat quarterback Kamden Sixkiller, who has passed for 673 yards and 4 TDs on the season while rushing for 114 yards and 3 TDs.

Florida is 25-1 in its last 26 games against FCS opponents, with its lone loss coming in 2013 against Georgia Southern.
