ESPN 'College GameDay' picks Week 2's top games

Week 2 of the 2026 college football season is here, and that means ESPN's "College GameDay" was back in full force to preview all the action. With an exciting matchup featuring two of the best teams in the country facing off, they made the easy choice to head to Austin, Texas, to watch the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes play the No. 3 Texas Longhorns.

Both teams are 1-0 to start the season and look like true national championship contenders. Despite having two high-powered offenses, it was the defense that shined last year, with Ohio State winning 14-7. Texas is looking to snap a two-game losing streak against the Buckeyes, who beat them in the playoffs two years ago.

The usual crew of Rece Davis, Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, and Pat McAfee were joined by guest picker Glen Powell to pick the top games of the weekend. He is a successful actor from Austin, Texas, who attended Texas before launching his career. He has starred in movies like Top Gun: Maverick, Twisters, and the TV show Cad Power
