Sep. 13—COTTONWOOD — The Lac qui Parle Valley football team moved to 2-0 off the legs of Jace Daline.

The senior fullback ran in three touchdowns in the Eagles' 20-14 victory against Lakeview on Friday night.

Daline's TD scores came from three, three and four yards out. He finished with 104 yards on 20 carries. He also had six total tackles.

Gavin Meyer threw for 43 yards on 3 of 4 passing. Gavin Mortenson had a LQPV-best 12 tackles (10 solo) in the victory.

The Eagles head to R.B Clay Field in Dawson to play Dawson-Boyd at 7 p.m. Friday.

Kimball's Max Jansky ran for 220 yards and four touchdowns to propel the Cubs past Paynesville at Kimball.

The Cubs' defense forced four takeaways in the victory.

Mason Hansen threw a pair of touchdown passes for the Bulldogs. He hit Brayden Meagher from 48 yards out and found Elias Vig for a 38-yard score. Hansen was 9 of 19 for 161 yards and three interceptions. Meagher was his top target with five catches for 101 yards.

Paynesville faces Redwood Valley at 7 p.m. Friday in Redwood Falls
