• Arkansas quarterback KJ Jackson ranks 16th in the SEC and 114th nationally in both passing efficiency (113.0) and completion percentage (55.1%). He has 3 touchdown passes and 2 interceptions. Coach Ryan Silverfield indicated Saturday night that he was sticking with Jackson over AJ Hill as the starter. "Right now, I probably got to stick with KJ. I made that decision. Obviously I got to go back and watch the film. But there’s a reason why we chose KJ to be the quarterback. Now, we got to be better in all facets. He has to be better."
• Georgia leads the nation in scoring at 66.5 points per game. The Bulldogs are clearly playing well, but that's partly a product of the defenses they've gone up against. Miami (61.0) and Florida (59.5) are behind Georgia, but the Hurricanes have played another power conference team in Stanford.

SEC teams are required to release availability reports for conference games. The reports are released on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights as well as 90 minutes before kickoff on Saturdays.

Defensive back Tyriq Green left Saturday's win late in the game with an apparent leg injury, but coach Kirby Smart did not have details on his status. Wide receiver Thomas Blackshear did not play in the Western Kentucky game with a wrist injury. Backup outside linebacker Chase Linton has missed the first two games of the season with a lower leg injury. Smart said last week he is "week to week."

Our first take on Georgia-Arkansas

The Bulldogs are taking a step up in competition by opening SEC play, but the Razorbacks have looked the part of a team picked to finish last in the conference. It trailed 43-3 in the fourth quarter at Utah and gave up 301 passing yards in the game. Utah scored touchdowns on all six of its red zone possessions. Kirby Smart found fodder to keep his team motivated by its play in the second half Saturday including a fourth quarter when it was outscored 14-7.
