The Georgia Bulldogs are headed into the start of their SEC schedule this week with a game on the road against the Arkansas Razorbacks. Despite how much Arkansas has struggled over its first two games, folks are ready to see the Dawgs against a conference team after they played tackling dummies the first two weeks.

After that though, it's one of the games of the season at Sanford Stadium with a team many consider a dark horse in the SEC in the Oklahoma Sooners. Now, fans can plan their calendars with kickoff time being revealed for the matchup.

According to a post from the program, things will get started at 3:30 p.m. EST on either ABC or ESPN.

Georgia vs. Oklahoma Will Kick Off at 3:30 p.m. EST

Fans in the replies were quick to point out the fact that this game being at 3:30 could mean there are not going to be any home night games at Sanford this year, something which would obviously be very disappointing. Things may have played out differently had the Sooners not lost this past weekend against Michigan, but such is the nature of scheduling in college football.

Oklahoma's loss does not make them any less of a threat either, and while the Dawgs may be able to take advantage of the struggles from John Mateer in the passing game, this is a team absolutely capable of going on the road and earning a significant victory against a quality team.

With one of the best defensive coaches in the nation in Brent Venables and an offense for Georgia that is still untested and unexperienced, it's a tall ask to handle Oklahoma and one to which they must be on top of things.

On paper, this is one of the games of the season in Sanford Stadium, and though fans would love for it to be at night, late afternoon is the next best thing as the weather starts to cool down here in the next couple of weeks.

This is one of the most highly anticipated showdowns of the season for the Bulldogs, and they will need a rowdy Sanford Stadium crowd behind them in order to send the Sooners home nice and disappointed.

Before that, Georgia must hit the road themselves this week and handle Arkansas, a challenge which does not look like much of one. If they do, the reward is the Sooners at home with an undefeated record.
