Morehouse College tight end Maurice Veney has committed to Vanderbilt football, his agency posted on social media on Nov. 24.
247Sports reported last week that the Division II transfer was set to visit Vanderbilt during the Kentucky game weekend.

The redshirt sophomore will have at least two years of eligibility remaining.
Vandy’s top two tight ends, Eli Stowers and Cole Spence, are outgoing seniors this season and have been featured heavily in the Commodores‘ offense.
The transfer portal is currently open for non-Division I transfers, with the Division I portal opening on Jan. 2, 2026.
