Kickoff time, channel announced for Colorado's Week 4 game vs. Baylor

Colorado football's Week 4 kickoff time against Baylor is set. Head coach Deion Sanders and his program will head to Waco, Texas, to take on the Bears on Saturday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m. MT, noon ET. The game will be broadcast nationally on either ESPN or ESPN2. The exact channel designation will be revealed Sept. 19.

For Colorado, it will be its first Big 12 matchup of the season, and the Buffs must deal with the early kickoff. Entering Week 3, Baylor is 1-1 on the young season, losing a nail-biting season opener to Auburn, where the Bears had a chance at a 2-point conversion to win the game. The Bears bounced back with a blowout win against Prairie View in Week 2 and will take on Louisiana Tech this weekend.

One story to monitor as the Week 4 matchup approaches is Baylor star quarterback DJ Lagway's health, as he missed the Bears' game against Prairie View. He is expected to play against LA Tech.

Who is favored in the matchup likely depends largely on what happens in Week 3, when the Buffaloes travel to Northwestern for a difficult nonconference test, and how Baylor fares against LA Tech.
