College football was crazy this past weekend, with plenty of upsets. Multiple teams shifted in the AP Top 25 following Week 2's action. Some of these were the SEC powerhouse Texas Longhorns and the Big Ten's Ohio State Buckeyes.
Texas beat Ohio State 24-23 in a game that featured a wild ending. Texas trailed by 20 points, but hung around and scored three straight touchdowns to win.
After the game, the Longhorns move to No. 1 in the AP Poll while the Buckeyes fell sixth. But one thing remains the same, the Georgia Bulldogs are still No. 2. Georgia defeated Western Kentucky 70-20 and is 2-0 this year. The Bulldogs have the highest scoring offense in college football/
For Bulldogs fans, this is good. They didn't rise, sure, but they also didn't fall in the rankings either. They're still in the top five, but don't have a target on their back. Depending on how things play out for the rest of the conference in Week 3, UGA could move to No. 1. The SEC now has six teams in the top 10.
Next up, Georgia will take on the 1-1 Arkansas Razorbacks at noon ET on Saturday, Sept. 19.
