You Just Got Served

In the ongoing legal and pettiness battle between Ole Miss and LSU, Ole Miss has landed the latest punch. Former Rebel and current Tiger DE Princewill Umanmielan was served court papers outside of the LSU practice facility on Wednesday regarding the ongoing lawsuit where Ole Miss alleges that he broke revenue sharing agreements by transferring to LSU. The real battle takes place Saturday night when LSU visits Oxford in must-watch television.

Texas AI Slop

Texas quarterback Arch Manning has issued a public apology for stating that he thought an AI-generated video of Texas coach Steve Sarkisian and ESPN reporter Holly Rowe was funny. The video in question shows Sarkisian slapping Rowe, which is an exaggeration of him spurning her postgame interview. As with everything, Rowe handled it with class, accepting Manning’s apology.

Jared Curtis time in Nashville

Vanderbilt has named true freshman quarterback Jared Curtis their starter for their upcoming game against NC State. Curtis played the entire second half last week against Delaware, taking over for an ineffective Blaze Berlowitz. He’ll have two games to get ready for the Commodores’ trip to Athens.
